Powerbox appoints Acumen, increasing support to South East Asian customers and contract manufacturers

Powerbox, one of Europe’s largest power supply companies and a leading force in optimizing power solutions for demanding applications, announced today that it has appointed Acumen Components Group to distribute PRBX products and power-solutions to South East Asia. This agreement will strengthen Powerbox’s presence in the region and provide local support to its customers and their contract manufacturers.

Headquartered in Singapore, Acumen Components Group was established in 1995 to cater for a growing demand for procurement solutions from global electronics manufacturing industries. The operation is strategically positioned in the heart of the trade link between Asia and the rest of the world, serving the need of Powerbox customers and partners. The group also includes offices in Malaysia and Australia.

Acumen will actively distribute PRBX products in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Acumen’s Penang office also provides advanced test and measurement facilities supporting specific customer demand and possible value added service, in addition to their distribution business.
